Spring’s first photo session

There is someone I would like you to meet. She’s a really great hairstylist: Andrea Rubinstein. We were colleagues  at the university, than she finished a hairstylist course, went to England, worked there for a year and a half, came home and started her own business. I really admire her style :)

So this weekend she asked us to help her making some pictures for her portfolio. It was on Sunday, lots of snow outside, but in the studio: the 7 of us with coffee, brownies, cameras and flowers.

And here are the results: this is me :) by Edina Kiss.

And here are some of my pictures.

We had a great time that day. And I hope that soon there’ll be another session like this one.

Stinas moods

Woke up this morning, the weather was just depressive…. so I’ve made a big cup of coffee with cinnamon (my favorite by the way), and started to work on a new page for the interactive children’s book “My polka-dotted Pig” . But i thought it would be nice to share with you the moods of little Stina, the cute pig. Well, here it is:

I hope You’ll like it :)

Have a nice day everyone!

Saatchi Online Collage Showdown

There is a great Gallery in London. They also have an online gallery, where you can find contemporary art from all around the world. What it makes really interesting, is that they organize thematic showdowns, “an online competition where artists can showcase their work and go head-to-head with other artists, giving the winner a chance to display their art at the Saatchi Gallery in London.”

The current showdowns theme is collage. I’m also participating with one of my works. ‘Till now I’ve always made it to the 2nd round the Juried Voting, where only the first 300 can get.

So, if you like this artwork of mine, you can vote for it here. You must login to participate in Showdown (you can also use your FaceBook account). If not, than just take a tour in the online gallery, it does worth it :)

My polka dotted Pig

I think, it’s time to say something about my work.

There is a great writer Judit P. Felföldi, who wrote a cute tale, than came with the idea of making it to an interactive children’s book. And we started to work, I began to make some sketches for the characters. This was in summer (last year). The characters were done, and we could begin to discuss each page: elements, sounds, interactive parts. There was lots of work, but we are almost done. I just have few more pages to finish.

Here is the FaceBook fanpage of the book, you can support our work with a big LIKE, we really appreciate it :)
